Item was as described, device creates a strong vacuum and adheres well to any smooth surface. the device was devoid of any instructions. no instructions as to the purpose of an additional ring supplied in the box which has an adhesive side and a magnetic side. the magnetic hold on the phone body seems adequate. my phone has a mag safe case. the hold might be stronger on a phone with out a case.

Its a yes!!! for dry smooth surfaces!! this stand has a powerful grip. surface must be clean and free of any oils.. it does not stick on surfaces that has been shined. pressing down a little on the center and rotate the knob to get the best grip and the magnet holds with a strong grip! i love this! i stuck it to the car window, my desk top, glass table and clean dry plastic dash.. it holds well! easy to set up, you just have to know how to use and be thoughtful of where you’re putting it. the quality of the material is like anything else. plastic with metal. it’s a nice gadget if you need for office video meetings

The instructions that came with it are awful! What part is “the spacer provided”? What is it supposed to attach to? What do you mean “then to adsorb the product onto the spacer”?
